A gorgeous estate, on the inside it has been converted however and looks just like a hotel. The place is smoothly run with large spaces that can be hired out for events and our room was warm and comfortable. The spa was lovely and everything we were hoping for (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam). The breakfast was decent and the estate is easy enough to get to as it is signposted. We had the pleasure of seeing the grounds covered in snow and frost, absolutely beautiful, wish we could have stayed for longer. It was a relaxing environment we are likely to revisit in the future.

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and in a relaxing atmosphere. It got busy on a Sunday morning but we did not feel under pressure to rush. The rooms were excellent. Our son had a double room, and we had a deluxe double, both excellent although the cheaper double room had a fridge & we did not. All the staff were excellent, we mentioned appt reception we were meeting our son whose birthday it was. Without a request they dressed his room with balloons, banners, a card and chocolate, such an amazing touch, our thanks to all involved!

We arrived at Cranage at approaching 9pm after visiting friends. When trying to check in it became apparent that I had made a major error and booked for the wrong night. The reception staff were so helpful - agreeing to honour the booking for the same price for that night and then getting our family room set up. We were so grateful at the end of a long day. Our kids had a dairy free pizza in the bar as well and breakfast in the morning was excellent too. Every member of staff we came across was smiley, polite and helpful.

Beautiful property set in extensive grounds. Extremely high standards of service. Staff were professional, friendly and polite. Check in was easy. Room was a very good size, tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean, well served for light switches and sockets, and overlooked the grounds. Leisure facilities much appreciated and very well maintained. Excellent breakfast in spacious restaurant- again with genuine service.

Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The beds were comfy and the rooms nice. The grounds and the views were amazing. Set in a lovely grounds with cows and squirrels everywhere. A really beautiful location and hotel. The Spa facilities were also great for the family, but be aware of the restricted swimming times for under 16's. A lovely location when visiting Chester Zoo (45 min drive away).
